It is with immense pride that we announce that dusara Pulasthi and D.S.T.D. Kuruwitarachchi, two outstanding students from the Biology Section of Ananda College, have been selected to represent Sri Lanka at the International Biology Olympiad 2025, scheduled to be held in Quezon City, Philippines from July 21 to 27, 2025.
Their selection was based on their exceptional performance in the National Biology Olympiad Selection Rounds, organized by the Institute of Biology, Sri Lanka. Idusara Pulasthi secured First Place, while D.S.T.D. Kuruwitarachchi achieved Third Place both earning the honorable opportunity to represent the nation on the global stage.
Ananda College extends its heartfelt congratulations to these brilliant young scholars. May they continue their journey with courage and success, bringing glory to Sri Lanka and Ananda College alike.
