Ananda College proudly participated in the 6th World Cultural Heritage Youth Symposium 2025, held in Athens, Greece, and organized by the Hellenic Cultural and Educational Club for UNESCO. This international event brought together over 400 students from more than 14 countries, all united in celebrating cultural heritage, collaboration, and youth leadership.
A delegation of 23 talented students from Ananda College, accompanied by the Principal of Ananda College, the Master-in-Charge of the UNESCO Club and a teacher, represented Sri Lanka with exceptional pride and spirit.
Through outstanding performances, creativity, and strong intercultural collaboration, Sri Lanka was honored with the title of “Guest of Honour” for the 2026 Symposium—a remarkable recognition of the country's and Ananda College’s contribution to the global stage.
This achievement reflects not only the students’ dedication but also the College’s commitment to fostering global citizens who embrace both heritage and harmony.
