Ananda College Honors Alumni Elected to the 10th Parliament of Sri Lanka

Continuing a proud tradition upheld by the Old Boys’ Association of Ananda College, a special felicitation ceremony was successfully held on April 3, 2025, to honor the distinguished alumni who have been elected to the 10th Parliament of Sri Lanka.

The event, which took place at the Kularathna Hall of Ananda College, celebrated the achievements of several esteemed Anandians now serving in key positions within the national legislature. Among those honored were Hon. Bimal Rathnayake, Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation; Hon. Dr. Dhammika Patabandi, Minister of Environment; and Hon. Ranjith Maddumabandara, Member of Parliament.

The ceremony was filled with pride and gratitude as the college community gathered to pay tribute to these exemplary leaders. Their success serves as a source of inspiration for current and future generations of Anandians, highlighting the importance of service, leadership, and dedication to the nation.
